Wasps in house

Lately we have noticed a lot of wasps in our house, in kitchen mainly,

Last Thursday evening I cut up an apple that was gone past its best, and put it on the bird table to see if the birds would eat it rather than binning it,

To my surprise the wasps are all over it like a rash every day, and only noticed yesterday that there has only been one :-) wasp to let out of the window again,

So if you are having wasp trouble try an old apple (small red one that goes in kids lunch box) it might keep them occupied outside

On a serious note we do get them a lot in Spain and have to deal with the nests, however the local agri co-op sell various sprays which kill the nests and the occupants on contact, have to say it does have a certain satisfaction about it.
