Just home from 2 week trip on the wild atlantic way and we used a mixture of wild camping and sites. I enquired at the Achill Sound Hotel about overnight stopping for motorhomes and was made very welcome. There is a large level gravel site at the back of the hotel right on the waters edge.We had a decent meal and enjoyed the music until midnight. There are no facilities but would open the back door at 8.00 am in case the toilet was needed.
They gave their address as the third building on the left once you cross the bridge to the island.

Yes that's it spot on drive down the side of the building.
The cars all seem to use the car park on the opposite side
off the road no one at the rear when I parked there in the MH.
