We met up with a few VW buddies and stayed in this carpark Saturday night.

Thanks to Usermap on MHC :D

Great spot, really scenic and quiet.

Only tip would be to park up in the corner out of the way as the car park really fills up in the morning with hikers. The mountain recue peeps were training as well so that made it even busier.

Shame about all the litter as it gives us responable campers a bad name but i'd definately recommend this place for the Summer.

Bring the fishing rods :D

Old post I know but in relation to this spot be careful with valuables. I do a lot of kayaking in this area and have come back to many a car break in.
