Anyone ever fitted an iircon to a ducato 2.5tdi engine of 1998 vintage?

I looked into doing this for Hessy - and there are engine modifications to allow this to include a compressor, rad and vents.
There is not much room to the right of the timing belt pulley for an extra drive and then the additives.
Regardless - to get the bits cost a bomb in comparison to placing a retrofit into the roof in place of the front vent fan.
The option i chose (if the weather ever permittted it )is to place a aircon system (240v stand alone) behind the drivers seat and jar the drivers window open with the vent through a blackened out perspex window jam with the hole in it for the vent hose.

You could still use the stand alone with an 12/240v inverter - it still works on the move ;-)

You'll need to put a good chain on the genny or it will be gone the first time you park up. :up:
