Hi Henry and Welcome,Could be something as simple as a
faulty temperature Switch sender had one on a Peugeot
recently gauge was all over the place switch cured this.
Could also be a build up of static on the back of display panel
connections read up on a Few other sites and this may be the
cause seems to be a common fault.Id say Tristan who's on

Is it a FIAT ? If so it's on the housing on the side of the head over the gearbox.
