Stopped off at Dungarvan yesterday evening on the way home from a spin.
Noticed this lovely spot for overnight parking. It's already in the POI's, but I thought it might be worth sharing a couple of photos.

Interesting: A Frankia parked up with a rear slideout. Never saw one with a rear slide before.

Re Dungarvan. We parked up in a car park on the other side of the river from Supervalue, just a left turn immediately before the bridge on the way in. Took a walk into the town and walked back to the van and left. Such a dirty ol' town. Wonder why the council didn't want to invite more business like us. Could have paid for a road sweeper or something.

I was staying in Dungarvan recently work wise and went for a ramble. I came across the motorhome parking and there was 5/6 parking bays all full with Irish reg vans but I suspect that they are parked there as a convenience more so than staying as a genuine camper. My visit was mid week Oct 15 and there was no life at any of the vans. Hopefully I am wrong as it is a great location and very nice town.
