Hello Folks

We havd renewed our policy from ADAC and they have sent me terms and conditions in English so I am going to try and attach them for anyone interested. By the way the girl in Germany assured me that our motorhome was indeed covered up to 7,500 tonnes. Hope this helps

That's very useful information Altnanean, I was contacting them yesterday to get her to email me the policy cover and she said there holidays were just starting and she may not have time, I didn't get it so this is great to read. Can I ask did you take the plus cover and how much it cost. There are two of us. Thanks very much, Hady

Thanks for that Altnanean. I paid €113 but that was for 2 people. I was trying to translate some bits of the policy from German so this is great.

Hi All,

I'm heading France this weekend. I have breakdown corner with my insurance. It's through the group scheme with Stuart Insurance. Should I be getting this cover too.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Regards

Kevin

I don't know what Stuart's offer cover wise, I know he Dolmen one isn't really up to the job of full repatriation so I took out an extra policy with ADAC this year, been with a different one the previous three years. The biggest benefit with the ADAC is it cover you and wife and not a specific vehicle, any one you are driving so covers the car as well as the motorhome.

I would do it to be safe.

Hi
I have renewed my ADAC Plus online and got the receipt in the post for €89.50.I have been with them since 2013 and have spoken to them before and they confirmed it includes myself and wife.
I suppose I wont know if everything is in order till I have to use it.

Hi Kevin

I am with Dolmen too. Can you download the info I attached. ADAC cover is quite extensive . You are cutting it fine to get the cover from ADAC now but I think that you could probably get it set up via email . As with everthing it is up to you we decided after a tyre blow out in France in 2013. Dolmen covered us for that but we asked what if it had been more serious so to sure, to be sure we bought ADAC.
We found them very easy to deal with and very helpful.

ADAC will give you your membership number by phone and email when you take out the cover and then forward the membership cards, thats what happened to us and the cards were waiting for me on my return.
