All,
It seems that the motorhome folk are no longer welcome on the pier in Kenmore. There is a local regatta there this Sunday and parking was prohibited but it sounds like the locals are making the Pier a permanent no parking / overnight stop.

May be of use to somebody heading that way.

Do you mind me asking where you got your info from?

If it was an auld codger full of Guinness or the goody goody two shoes (the one that says "I'm not in the habit of repeating my self") out for a stroll I'd take it with a pinch of salt,

Some times a rumour starts and people start to believe it's official

Family living locally confirmed same about parking signs - I intended to stay there but decided to stay in Killarney and let them visit me.

Perhaps some other member could confirm. Pity!!

Sometimes signs are there for years and get ignored, eg Westport and a few more,

I hope that a few haven't ruined it for the majority again,

Any time I go into kenmare I see at least 4,5,6,7, vans parked there with no problem!

The No Parking/Camping signs are on the Pier area where access is needed for the boats.

All the vans park along the road before the Pier and not in front of the houses if possible.
