Overnight parking is allowed at the Ten Foot car park in Cobh, subject to paying and displaying, 7 Euro for 24 hours.
AFAIK the management will let you stay overnight at the waterworld pool complex at Claycastle in Youghal if you are a customer.
Also the carpark near the Jameson centre in Midleton is often used for overnight parking.

Youghal itself still does not seem to have any place commonly used for overnight parking,

Wild Camping would not be appropriate at any of the above locations

in cobh go to the coastguard station, park in the car park right on waters edge.
its actually the old station knocked down just the walls remain round the car park.
free and no problem!

I stayed in Youghal recently for one night ( the Sunday of June Bank Holiday w/e). We parked on the waterfront outside The Quays pub.
a bit noisy 'till pub closed but then not a sound. There were 5/6 continental vans there the same night.

Good luck !
