Just returned from france after 24days in extremely hot weather, and I have to say we travelled to eurodisney for 2 nights €30.00 a night in the carpark and you can use the showers. from paris we went to briare and used the aires down beside the river €7 for water and electric and a beautiful place well worth a visit, from here we travelled down to the dordogne and stayed in les peneyrals a site i would reccommend for touring vans a great pool area and spotless facilities and dont leave without visiting sarlat (amazing region with loads to do). The same cant be said for the last park we stayed in, €66 for 1 night in this so called 5 star site le ty nadan, it was the dirtiest site ive been on in the 7 years we've been going to france. the entrance is very tight for campers and caravans, the lifeguards are a joke and are oblivious to the gangs of teenagers acting like twats around the pool areas. and if you want a sunbed in july and a space to put it around the pool i'd suggest on another site, we travelled with 2 teenagers and a 9 year old and they didn't rate it at all. Will be staying in ireland next year so looking for recommendations around donegal and the shannon region.
