Batteries

Hey all,

Currently running 2 batteries and a solar panel but away the weekend at about 4 am the charge control alarm started to sound. The batteries are just over 3 year old so looks like I'm going to have to get a couple new one.
All advice accepted best place to get them at the right money and what ones to get.

Thanks

I use the cheapies from Hagans, "premium" or something like that, I would need to look. Anyhow, they have never let me down.

the Varta and bosch silver line ones get good reviews, they are a car battery but due to their different construction work exceptionally well as a leisure battery (apparently)

We only use/fit/sell Numax leisure batteries, not the cheapest but they just don't let us down. Don't fit an Elecsol, or Exide. Imo. Surprised you need them, with you having a solar panel, when was the charging last checked?

I bought one three years ago and it only lasted one year, took it back without the receipt and they handed me a new over the counter with a further two years warranty without any hassle. Two years later that battery was fine when we sold the Motorhome.
