Roslare to Cherbourg tickets for sale

Hi All,

I had a planned to travel to France for 2 months this summer in my new 2nd hand camper and enjoy the road and the freedom. Unfortunately I had a bit of an accident and I have injured my knee, now I am unable to drive to the shop so France is out of the question.

The tickets I booked are for 2 adults and a large motor-home leaving Roslare on the 2nd of July, arriving in Cherbourg on the 3rd. The return journey is flexi and so can be changed with little cost. and the number of passengers can be amended also.

In a effort to recover some of the 550 euro I spent on these tickets I though I would post them on here to see if they wold be of interest to anyone else? I know the leaving date is very soon but its worth a try right...?

Why not try to change the dates to even early next year or whenever you think you will be fit again

Hi Aoife what is the cost of transferring name and vehicle sometimes it cost as much a the tickets. I think FC suggestion is good

That is a pity. I hope you recover from your injury.
I will mention to a few friends and see if any are interested but I know most have their booking made.

Hi,

Thanks for the best wishes for me knee, hopefully it will be back in action before winter but a bit late for a summer vacation, I'm hoping take the money and spend it on flights, not the vacation I planned but a knackered knee wont spoil my fun.

I've checked with Stena and the changing of passenger information is free and the transfer to another date will also cost nothing extra, the dates which are still available for the outward journey are: 4th, 11th and 14th of July and 1st, 8th, 11th, 13th, 18th, 22nd and 29th of August.

The return journey can also be changed to a later date with no additional cost.

You can get a refund on a Flexi fare (up to 24 hours before departure). A £3 cancellation fee per sailing applies to Flexi bookings.

Unfortunately only the return is Flexi so only it can be exchanged for a refund. The outgoing journey is not flexi but I will cover the price of changing it.

@ jonny.i : I paid 550 for the tickets and would like to sell them for close to this amount. Please make an offer, I tried to PM you but the administrator refused me permission....

Journey to France is not flexi, I can cover cost of changing it to a later date if there is any cost.

The journey back is flexi it can be changed without charge.

The names of passengers can be changed without charge.

The motor-home that is booked is 10m long. This can be changed to be a car with caravan or a smaller motor home without charge.

I hope this clears things up. I would accept an offer of 400 if it is of any use to anybody.

Why would anybody bother getting Flexi if it is possible to change a booking possibly for free?

Thanks for putting the word out. I have had some interest but the tickets are still available.

There is no cabin booked, on some sailings cabins are fully booked already including the 2nd of July, but on later sailings there are cabins still available but the cost would be extra.

And I don't have travel insurance unfortunately.....lesson learned!
