Everything Booked

Finally got round to sorting this years holiday out, I have booked the landbridge crossing to France out from Dublin to Holyhead then Dover to Dunkirk. We went with Irish Ferries and DFDS and booked them separately as that was cheaper than booking a full landbridge. All in cost for the return crossings was £420 and I know some have got deals to France going with one direct sailing but having had the bad experience before I am very reluctant to do it again. I did look at it and the sailings around when we were travelling some had no cabins left and I certainly wouldn't do it without a cabin.

Nice one John.
Good price too. Amazing that is was cheaper than landbridge.
Just shows it pays to look around.

I was looking at july sailings the other day on Irish ferries but any that suited had no cabins.
Not that I really needed another trip over. Been twice this year so far and still have August to look forward to.

The same crossing with Stena on a full landbridge was £570, the tunnel was closer to £700, but as I always leave the booking to the last minute the tunnel is always more expensive.
