Here's a guy in Wisconsin that is working on a cool project. He also has a Coachmen Leprechaun motorhome, same model as ours but a 1979 vehicle which is one year older than our van. The interesting thing about his project is that he is totally rebuilding the back section of the motorhome. Scott totally stripped down the wooden superstructure and is rebuilding it from the frame up.

A hell of a project:

It gives me a huge insight into how our coach is framed and it has answered all of the questions I had in regards to how the back end of our camper is built.

The longer it takes the harder it gets as far as restoring a car is concerned and I'm sure it's no different with motor homes. One goes through many phases in the project even wanting to give up.
