Hi all, my B544 1990 has riderite air assist suspension airbags by firestone, unfortunately they are quite close to the suspension units and both bags have a groove worn in to the rubber and one has worn through. I can reposition slightly so they are clear but the one which is now punctured is proving very difficult to seal. I have tried puncture repair, chemical sealing and taken it to two well known tyre repair outlets, they have plugged it, patched it etc all to no avail. So new airbag required Anyone know where I could get one of these?

A company in Midleton, Co Cork fitted ours.
You will get a better response if you add your Location. I usually don't bother replying to posts without location as there is no point talking about a place in Kerry if you are living in Derry. I can look up who fitted ours if you are from that locality.

Firestone airbags are available from many truck part (motor factors for trucks) usually at a fraction of the price aswell,

Each airbag will have a number printed on the metal plate that holds the fitting that fills it with air,
If you clean it and get a number you can get cross referenced if a Firestone isn't available a Dunlop or similar will fit,
Most air bags fitted to Motorhomes that I have seen are the same bellows type small bag fitted to the lift axle of a truck trailer, (the one that lifts the axle when the truck is empty)

As chausson says fill your location and you will get a better response

Hi all, thanks for all the useful suggestions. I contacted Simon from LTS and he got me a bag from Riderite in Dublin, had to remove the axle mounting flange from the old one, which was not a 5 minute job, and reassemble to the new one. After that everything pressured up nicely. So, big shout to all at LTS.
Also, I noted the advice about adding my location - I'm in Bangor - I did try but failed miserably to get in and update my info, how is this done?
lastly, any wiring diagrams available for the engine, lights etc for a 1990 B544?

Thanks again,
Noel.
