Overhaul of Diesel Pump on 1992 Fiat Ducato

Hi All

I've had a lot of hassle with my Hymer C46 on 1992 Fiat Ducato non-turbo struggling to pull and frequently cutting out.

Apparently the problem was the diesel pump and it needed overhauling.

Any idea how much this would cost. I have a price of €1175 to do this and also change timing belt and tensioning kit along with a few other minor odds and sods.

Is this a fair price for Dublin. This is cash before VAT

Wouldnt have a clue - but i would expect a new engine as well for that price. Unless you have a typo and 175 for a new pump perhaps!
