hi fitted some led festoon bulbs on parking lighte took van for drive when turned on the lights the amber Exterior lighting failure light on dash came on what could the problem be as all lights are working??

I have read on other forums that a vehicle with a 'canbus' wiring system cannot pick up the fact that the LEDs are working and records it as a fault.

I believe there are work arounds but I regret I have no expertise, hopefully some one will add further to this, although a Google will probably help.

Bulbs are available with resistors built in . They are called "error free"
