Hi All motorhomers,
Just wondering have any members been to Ardmore recently to Dick Powers field

Really wondering if many around or would we be on our own if we head to Ardmore .
Fab Site on the beach ,
looking forward to heading to Ardmore for alot of the Summer like we did last year

I Expected that alot of motorhome users would know of this area

However it is on the way into the village a large sign is displayed, You drive down a laneway by a farmers yard and sheds.It is a very large field almost on the beach, fresh water and toilet disposal on site and in 2014 it was 10 euro.

Yes it is for all. Lovely cliff walk up by the hotel and it is free and for all also,

No sign of Fr. Ted just Dick Power usually in the evening time for payment.

A lot would depend on are you talking about mid week or the weekend and of coarse the weather would be a major factor. You are right it is a mighty spot and everybody seems so friendly there. Who knows we might run into you during the summer, If you see a 08 LH Reg Knaus be sure nto come over and say hello.

Hi Pat.
maybe it is just as well that it is a bit of a secret it is such a perfect spot if one is a fan of beach sea and sand. Even with a Rally being held last year everyone still plenty of space.
If you see a 07.Knaus pop to say Hi.We have something in common Already /Knaus

Hi all, We stayed in Dicks field last Sat night along with 8 other campers.Such a lovely spot we go there quite alot,look out for us too " Teach bideach".By the way he told us he will be putting in some electric points in the next few weeks.

Thanks for that update, glad to hear that u were in Ardmore at the weekend and other people also,
a couple of motorhomes is all u need for company at this time of year. Electric hook up would be great especially when staying for
more than 4-5 days As we usually do.

Parked up in the town and walked over the beach to the field today looks a nice quite spot , 7 or 8 motor homes parked up , would hope to spend a night there soon , ger
