planning on going to cherbourg then into belgium luxembourg germany....found this site if its of any interest .its places to park free. some good ones on it.

Yes and both Luxembourg and Germany - all are motorhome friendly.
Make sure you are on the Red light when you get to Luxembourg and fill up with fuel there it's dearer in both Belgium and Germany.
It's also the cheapest place for fags and baccy - if you are a smoker.

Campingcar infos is another good site for finding overnights.

Park outside the customs offices if in lux city. Free and safe. There is a shuttle bus into centre that comes right into the carpark! Nice city for a day visit.

We stayed at an aire in Tournai, Belgium. Lovely old town, with a river and parks and the old town is a UNESCO heritage site.
