Our Motorhome is classed as 3500kg and what is the speed limit in france? is it classed as under 3500kg or over 3500kg?

Thats what I was thinking Mark, but what if you were a few kg overloaded and didnt know?

It get even more confusing if you drive through any part of the UK to get to France as the UK regs say...............

Do you know of anywhere the "maximum unladen weight" of your motorhome is recorded?

It is possible to have an under 3500kg van with an unladen weight of over 3050kg and it is just as possible to have an over 3500kg van with an unladen weight of less than 3050kg.

If the "maximum unladen weight" is not recorded anywhere, how can there be any enforcement?
