My friend's motorhome unfortunately got some water ingress in the back seam at the washroom, does any one know anyone who does these type of repairs in the North. ie panel off , new wood on, resealed etc.

Thanks, will pass it on. ps A lesson in this for most, he let a friend dive for a bit but the friend clipped a bollard when reversing, just caused a small split/crack at the rear corner which they 'gooed' up . Now two years later it's a major damp problem with the whole corner joint coming apart to the roof.

I bought an old Transit last year with what I thought was a similar problem (bit of damp in rear corner), when I started stripping the interior panels it had spread considerably, I ended up with a problem with 50% of the walls. Just be aware whatever damp you see on the surface is usually an indication of a more widespread problem.

Our mechanics are regularly fixing damp repairs.
Seems to be a major issue especially at the start of the season off the back of a wet winter.

Thank you will pass it on . Actually might call some time to get a quote for replacing garage floor etc with al. chequer plate as there are some spongy bits in there on my MH which seems to be par for the course on older Artos where the door seal leaks. Would that be something Donagheys would do.
