Picture the scene....

A few Vans lined up, a few drinks and a lovely camp fire... someone brings out a guitar for a singalong. What songs would you like to hear?

Hello Ally;
We are heading to overnight at Ballintoy Harbour on Saturday night to see the lovely sunset (hopefully!)
I have a home compiled songbook folder with a few hundred singalong classics gathered from the 50's & 60's etc, some country and some folk songs. If its in my book I can play it on my guitar and probably will tomorrow nite after a few vinos! We have brought the makings for pina colados and 2 x cocktail glasses and if its good a wee BBQ may be in order. We always try to get the parking spaces to the left as you arrive down at the bay and by 9 or 10pm all other vehicles are away. The toilets are open all night and there are 2 x water taps available. Look for the Swift Sundance if you're down there. John & Emily Flanagan

Sounds great! Julie is working this weekend though and for some reason she wouldn't be happy if I headed out without her, woman eh? :)

Play the guitar myself, still learning but isn't that always the case? - Nearly got the guitar out at the M/Craic weekend but I chickened out. O-)

Would love a list of popular singalong songs to practice for such times.

Why does everybody run to Donagheys? What's the attraction?

They used to be kinda cheap but now the UK dealers vans are way cheaper like for like. The weekends in the past Donaghys laid on loads of food and drink for people attending though I think its tea and coffee this year. It's a good weekend to meet up with folks you aint seen in a while :)

A free weekend put on by the biggest dealer in Ireland, great opportunity to meet up with other Motorhomers. A few beer a singalong and 500 Motorhomes, sure how could you beat it? :-)
