Hurling

I'm interested in attending a hurling errrr......... event/match/game/whatever? during my trip in May.

I've found out the the Championship starts just before we arrive so can any hurling fans tell me the in and outs of seeing hurling. I see there are two events scheduled for May 10th
Westmeath v Antrim @ Cusack Park
Carlow v Laois @ Dr. Cullen Park

Any recommendation for which would be the best to visit? Preferably one where I can park a 7.5m van.
I'd like to do some photography at the event - is that permitted?
I don't mean snapping away on a phone, but using a long lens on an SLR. Not for any professional purpose, just amateur club photography.

All advice gratefully awaited.

Thanks for that.

Any advice as to which might be the better match?

It seems likely we will be closest to the Munster one, I think that is furthest South and the biggest stadium - is that right?

I'd best have a look around on Google Maps/Streetview to see which looks best for a motorhome visit.

Thanks again.

Just looked and Cusack Park looks by far the better for access and parking.

Does anyone know if any of the car parks around there tolerate overnighting?
