Seen this on another forum thought I would try it on here. A wee poll just out of interest to see where everyone is heading this year.

Multiple choice is possible.

Heading down the Southwest (Ire) for Easter, in the summer we are taking the ferry to Fishguard send a week (maybe less see how that goes) driving up through Wales then on to the Lake district and up the west coast of Scotland as far as the Great Glen then up to John O'Groats via Inverness - taking about 3 weeks I hope - then off to Orkney again.

The great thing about the "bus" is that you can be flexible, we rarely stay on a site for more than 2 days often we just stay the one night for us the fun is in the journey not the destination

Ireland and GB for us, although if I keep finding Music Festivals in Ireland, GB might not get a look in!

Hi Guys
Thought I would let you know we are off at the end of the month, have decided we are not ready to settle down in a house just yet.
We are heading for the UK to get service on motorhome and Smart car then we are heading to Europe, have no set plans on where we are going, it may take 1 year it may take longer, apart from the 3 months we have just had in the house we have been travelling for 3 years and are not sick of it yet. (think we might have pikie blood hehe)
We would like to thank everyone for making us welcome in Ireland and at the Antrim weekend, we have had a ball, hopefully we will catch up with everyone when we return or maybe even before we go.
All the best
Kelvin and Lucy

Kelvin and Lucy,

Was an honour to meet both of you at the Craic meet, Julie and I hope that wherever you end up you have a great time and we hope to meet you both again at some point. Stay in touch no matter where you land!

Kelvin and Lucy,

Millions of luck on your travels, maybe you should start a blog section on Motorhome Craic and keep us all posted on your travels, it would be great to hear of your travels, might tempt the rest of us to go further afield (says she sitting outside the camper in bishopscourt with the sun shinning and bikes racing past - bliss.

“May flowers always line your path and sunshine light your day. May songbirds serenade you every step along the way. May a rainbow run beside you in a sky that's always blue. And may happiness fill your heart each day your whole life through.”

Good Luck.

We're off to Scotland after Easter and then to France in September. When I say France what I mean is that's where we will be landing. Not sure at this stage where to after that. We have had the ferry booked since last October.

Oh - and I nearly forgot; Kilkenny in June !!!!

We are off to France in August. I am going to the Citroen Reaaly with my 2CV in Harrogate on the way. Getting the Train at Folkestone and hopefully going to Paris, Beaune, Switzerland and Annecey. I can't wait.

Ireland has many of the nicest spots in Europe and its easy to see them with a weeks break a few times each year, however the weather normally sucks so its nice to visit other parts of europe for the main holidays where we can enjoy the sunshine as well. Lifes to short to stay on one Island
