The National Caravan Council, the trade body for motorhome manufacturers and dealers, was due to announce a new standard and scheme for leisure batteries at the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show at the NEC, Birmingham but the launch has now been put back until later in the year. Neil Irvine, Quality Schemes Director for the NCC commented, “Due to last minute feedback received from the industry regarding life-cycle testing it, was agreed that the launch be postponed until a meeting of the working group could be reconvened and agreement reached as to how the scheme could best utilise this data.”
