I have the remains of a 1991 d310 and if it is on it you can have it for free, if I get chance I will look in the morning.

thanks pat that would be fantastic, mad max it is a rhd but I think any side might do if not we might be able to modify it. this all started with trying to tighten the spindle for the doe test also we found a little leak into the cab so we obtained a new scuttle panel its own one is badly repaired , so in trying to removed the nut holding the spindle we will have to do a little surgery!!!!

Sorry to hear that,
The reason I ask is a friend who drives a LHD Ducato MH went to a lot of trouble getting a wiper arm and couldn't figure why it wouldn't fit,
He ordered a wiper arm but forgot to tell who ever he got it from that his MH is LHD,

thanks pat I'am very grateful for your efforts, I have to cut off the outer nuts on the spindles also
but there are two more on the inside so even if the spindles were salvagleable from that point of view it would be great!

Hi there. I have a 95 208 camper and the spindles seized also. I just loosened the fixing to the body a bit so it could rotate freely but still have limited play. i then covered metal to spindle contact area with a bit of grease. Works perfect and passed two tests since. It wears the paintwork a bit but its an old van and new spindles are expenive reltative to value of van.

hi cavan james thanks for your reply, I have probably come to that conclusion but I had to remove the spindles anyway because I have obtained a a new scuttle panel and in fitting that removal of the spindles helps but its good to know that, what condition is your own van in?

It looks great in the dark! Mechanically sound but it wasnt taken care of before I got it and cab is bit rusty. Just failed cvrt on holes in the inside sills. Ive a feeling it will be 20% fiberglass before long. But it will keep on going and going and ill keep patching it up. The joys of it all.
