Pier Kenmare

Hi all.
Just happened to be passing through Kenmare yesterday and went down to the pier to check it out for a possible overnight as so many others had mentioned it. There was a sign prohibiting motorhomes from parking over night on the pier. I take it that the parking of motorhomes is along the road leading to the pier. Any advice

Hi Notahome how did you get on in Kenmare for the weekend. Did stay near the pier or head into the town ?

Hi Seamus, just home after a very enjoyable few days away. Stayed in Kenmare Saturday night, two other vans pulled in as well. A lovely spot, very quite and the locals out for a walk very friendly. Turned on the pier and parked up on the right (water side ) just past the houses. Big new SuperValu/Lidl car park just out of town center (signposted), would like to hear if anyone has stayed over here?
