Has anyone changed their outside light strip from whatever to LED? Last time we were away I noticed how bright Kens light was compared to mine, and he reckons one or more of you will point me in the right direction. Is it possible to remove the lights strip and replace with more eco friendly, brighter LEDs?

Yes it's possible to change, but I thought yours was led. You may have to do a little bit of electricery work to change depending on the type of bulb you have in the outside light

No John, when you see mine lit, beside Kens, mine looks like a torch with the batteries about to expire! :'(

There are bulbs available which are direct replacements and others which provide a strip or plate of LEDs which need to be adjusted to the fitting on your van.

The other solution is change your van

It would be a bit trastic to change your van for a new light. Although I once knew a guy who changed his car when the ash tray was full

This is a conversion of an exterior light I did a couple of mths back . I removed all the workings of the tube and replaced them with 3 bulb holders from a scraped car and 3 leds as shown in pictures,, working brilliant and very little expence.

Sounds a good job just wish I had the hands to do things like that.

Thanks Mark for the help, The top pic is the light with the 3 new leds, the next is the tube that was removed and the bottom pic is one of three bulb holders that fitted into the space with the new bulbs.

Very nice but I get the feeling there's a connexion to the Three Wise Men there when it's switched on.

You know, at the end of the day, I'll talk to Simon at LTS. I'd hate to do any damage!
