France ferry booked. : )

Hi all, just booked our ferry to France, going Rosslare, Cherbourg returning Cherbourg, Dublin. Using Irish Ferries as I got the 10% discount, using those routes as, A, wanted to treat the wife to the cruise ferry experience and, B, it means we've only the short drive home from Dublin. As ever, I'm looking forward to our yearly adventure, probably head down to Royan using a few sites along the way and back. Now, we're going to head for Rosslare the day before to arrive early so, does anyone have any suggestions as to where to stay the other side of Dublin. Thanks in advance.

Know it well from our caravan days, but I wanted to get a bit further down, say, 3 hours away from Rosslare.

Hi Paul, the bee hive pub is outside Wicklow town on the main n 11 road (main dublin to Wexford road ) ,it has a large car park and a lot of trucks overnight there,I will be passing there the weekend and can find out about parking if that is any help to you or any other craicers. It is about an 90 minute drive to ferry. Port.

Thanks for the suggestions guys n' gals. The Beehive sounds just the ticket, I remember driving past it a few times. We would stop, have a meal a a few drinks then move on in the morning, if they do a breakfast, we'd have that too :-) If you call in, that'd be much appreciated
