I don't buy magazines that often so subscription wouldn't be a benefit to me.

Usually I'll pick up a copy of MMM or Practical Motorhome if there is something of particular interest to me. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday morning along with a cuppa.

However, I was a bit shocked recently when I went in to Eason's and put my hand on a copy of MMM. Needless to say I put it back on the shelf and picked up a copy of BSH instead! That's www.backstreetheroes.com just in case some of ye might think BSH was some sorta bondage fetish type of thing...

The euro/pound exchange rate is weak at the moment so considering the current rate (€1=£0.77p), £4.20p comes to €5.45c ish.

At €8.46c retail price, someone somewhere is making a helluva markup. 😠

Rant over, feel better now. :D

Why bother buying MMM?
Half is adverts for things you probably don't need and the rest is usually crap content.

Im sure someone on here will have a copy that they can post to you after they have finished with it. An alternative would be to buy an online copy of which edition you want.

I think it was €26 for the full year digital subscription to mmm which is around €2.20 an issue, mind you I havnt read it in the last 3 or 4 months,

But €8 odd is a joke, and as mark pointed out its getting packed with adds and less of the practical stuff, needless to say I won't be renewing my subscription,.......a lad would get a slab of green yolks for that :-) :-)

if you only read it from time to time buy the one issue on line at whatever the cost is, but it will be a lot less than €8

Totally agree with your point. Not only motorhome magazines but photography mags, computer mags etc etc

I don't buy magazines anymore - except the odd occasion that I am in Norn Ireland
