Is it safe to stay at Carna Beach in Wexford , St Margets campsite is closed but i would like to stay down there or Kilmore Quay this weekend ?
Dave
It is not safe at all - don't do it . I know a really safe spot to park this weekend and we would love to see you. LUMPERS, do you want me to keep you a space?

Oh go on, you know you want to. There is a seat half way up and the view is quite remarkable, you could bring along a picnic lunch, bottle of wine, ipod for music....

I need to take Margaret up the mountain. Just long enough to keep her out of the bar! If I took her for a romantic walk on the beach, she would see house lights and ask if they're licensed!!

There are frour warning signs about overnight parking / camping around the carpark at the pier. I don't think the locals would bother you but with the caravan and camping park so close they may not be too happy about people staying just outside their place. What about the end of the road past St Margarets ? I'd be more inclined to go to Kilmore, more to do / see, chipper, pubs, restaurant. Also a very well stocked ships chandlers, fishing gear, stainless steel bits and pieces, lots that you could use in the motorhome. Hard to come out of there without spending money. Hope this helps a bit. Enjoy the weekend.
