Calira charger on Knaus

Hi all,
I have a factory fitted Calira system on my 1998 Knaus. It charges 2 leisure batteries with no issues. Does anyone know if the unit is normally wired to trickle charge the starter battery also when on EHU?

I also have an Knaus and yes it does, according to an electronic engineer they are one of the more intelligent chargers in what they do and how they do it (so I was told!) they charge all leisure batteries and feed the starter battery and do it while on the move and via EHU.

Are you having problems?

Our last van was the same as Johns with the clabri charger. It also kept the vehicle battery charged on EHU

My Adria does it as well and also won't allow the engine battery to be drained.
