Winter fast approaching...

Do you use your MH over the winter?

What campsites/wildcamping do you recommend over that period?

So far any campsites we have asked close from end of October.

We always used Tollymore over winter but last year it became quite uncomfortable. Some travellers moved in for the long term.
At first things were fine but as the winter went on more and more appeared.

We were there in February for the last 4 days of a 10 day trip but moved on 2 days early as did many others..

Antway....

Tollymore
Castle Ward (big discount for National Trust members)
Mourne Motorhome Park (once they re-open)

Cheers Mark.

I'm sure Tollymore have put something in place to stop this happening again?

Wonder is it still the same?

I heard recently they moved the travellers on.

I would recommend Castleward good amperage on electric hookup and it's a 10 minute dander into the town to the local shops and the two pubs The Cuan [for food] and The hole in the wall. I've already booked into Castleward for Easter next year. Yes Mark your still right about Tollymore.
