Anyone else using one? Definitely never go away in the MH without it. App just updated so can cast anything on your phone or tablet to TV. Chromecast works with crApple and of course android as it is made by Google.

Loads of apps like netflix straight to your TV.

The new functions on the chromecast app are great. Can now cast without both devices being on the same wifi. Handy for the tethering moments ;) - can now "Cast screen" which is very handy from the tablet.

Been using netflix with it, works a charm. Also installed Chrome plugin (desktop) so now desktop casting to TV also.

Tried to set it up in work but it's not compatible with our wifi protocols, some Cisco thing.

You would need to allow those ports or that MAC/IP address, your IT guy should sort it.

Johneen got me a chromecast for Christmas so she could get emmerdale, Corrie etc when she likes.
iphones do not like it so I bought a real tablet after Christmas. Now she watches TV on the tablet and isn't using the chromecast at all.

we have iplayer, itvplayer and 4od so far.
Any other good apps I should add to the tablet?
