European breakdown cover for 3 weeks in france

Guys and Girls

Im needing some advise on breakdown cover for France in July, I currently have breakdown cover with the AA I have just spoke to them regards eurpeon cover and they have quoted me £120 for 20 days.
OK so quote me if Im wrong but is this not a tad expensive.
What do other people pay and who is there cover with?

Have you tried ADAC?

In the past we thought we were covered by Dolmen Insurance as part of our policy. ( partly due to their inability to confirm anything by phone )

It now appears donlem only cover one hours work at the roadside or taking you to the nearest garage.
We are thinking of looking into ADAC ourselves...

I would go for red pennant with the caravan club i go to France in July every year and although im a mechanic and my motorhome is only two years old and still under warranty I wouldnt go without it for peace of mind and im on my holidays no busmans holidays Edd

ADAC depends what cover you have paid for, usually around 79 euros, they just farm it out to the nearest outfit.

a couple of years ago
they got me from LeMans to england including car hire, overnight hotel, ferry with o/n cabin and 2and a half hour taxi to Caen to catch the overnight ferry (my original ferry was dover calais)
then shipped my busted 4x4 over a week later

only had to pay for my phone bill at hotel
