We went up to Slieve Gullion which is in South Armagh hoping to stay the night. We asked the chap in charge Liam, silver hair, because Dermot, short bespectacled his colleague was off, they are found in the wooden hut in the playpark. Yes we asked Liam if there was any problems overnighting, and he explained the official policy is the car park must be cleared at closing time. I asked what about his policy, and he replied, " at closing time I lock up, if theres anyone still here, they're here till tomorrow". So we stayed, it was very pretty watching the lights twinkle in the valley below, a courtyard houses toilets and coffee bar, an amazing playpark for the kids. lovely walks, if not a tad stenuous above the car park. A fine place to overnight, couldn't find a tap but emptied loo in portaloo at play park before the writhing masses appeared.
