Hi folks,

While phoning round various pubs for our Irish Stops I was told by the chap at Patsy Dans in Dunfanaghy that because of objections he's no longer able to welcome motoromes there.

It's mentioned elsewhere on MHCraic so thought I should post an update.

Shame, as it looks like a great spot.

Not good. Where is this place? Galway City?

That's a bit of a gunk. We stayed there last summer and it was a great place. This is sad news and I wonder what has happened.

Several threads on here about it no longer being suitable, but I think there are still Motorhomers who use it.

Maurice: didn't you use it recently?

I think Ally is right you can still park behind the pub but because of certain regulations it cant be classed as official.

We were there on Sunday and were told the council stopped the overnight parking. Instead we went to The Singing Pub near Downings where we were given a very warm welcome.
