Leisure battery dying

Hi all,
Looking for a bit of advise here.
I am having trouble with the leisure battery in our van, I have a split charge relay fitted and an 18A charger. I noticed about 2 months ago that while running the split charge relay was cutting in and out I identified the problem as low battery voltage caused by a faulty charger. Replaced the charger and re charged the battery all was good until tidy when again I noticed the relay cutting in and out again, I checked te battery voltage and it's down below the cut in voltage of the split charge relay.
Do you think the battery could be faulty not holding charge?
We haven't used the van 12v system. I.e lights or tv etc.
The battery is only 10 months old 110AH
Any thoughts or hints would be helpful
Thanks

Not something I know anything about.
You could try Simon at LTS who are in Dromore. Not too far from Lisburn.

If you do please remember to mention Motorhomecraic as he is one of the advertisers on here.

I had a new 110V leisure Battery that died at 11 months. Why don't you charge it, check the voltage, then disconnect one of the terminals and check the voltage again in a few days and see if it is holding its charge.

It is possible that it's faulty. A few years ago I had one and I took it back to where I bought it after 4 months and they tested it and it was faulty.

I bought one in September a couple or three years ago. Left it in the van through all that horrific cold weather, and that killed it. Wouldn't take a charge, so I returned it and got a new one. Really is best to remove it from situ in winter if its not going to be used. Spare room with a trickle charge is the answer for next year.
