hi ive got a new mh. it has a square flat katerine roof tv antenna of some sort (no manual). it is linked to a skybox and tv. all are switching on. should it be possible to get freeview TV with this tyoe of set up? ive never used freeview as we dont get good signal at home.

If you have a skybox fitted it must be a satellite dish rather than an aerial.

You can't get Freeview on a dish but you can get freesat channels.

You may find you also have an aerial which should give you freeview channels if your TV can receive them.

It is also possible that there was a dish fitted but has been removed but I find that strange if the skybox was left.

thanks mark.the katerine thing is flat, so I didnt think it was satelite receiver. there are no mabpnuals so I have no idea how to tube. ill fing model numbers apon the dish and search for that.

It could be an aerial or a dish.

Kathrein do satellite dishes both standard and square/siamond shaped, they also only operate with their own recevier/skybox
