216 aires in ireland ?

hi all - just found a website regarded as one of the best for locating aires - just happened to spot an entry for Ireland - sure didnt know we had 216 of them - perhaps some more experienced and travelled members can clarify ??
just checked out one sample - jenkinstown in kilkenny - shows showers available and free - gives sat nav locations

If you look at them they include what we would call wild camping locations.
Aire just means area so when the French mention an Aire for camping car they can simply mean a parking place.

yes mark i see that - still i looked into some and was surprised - saw some close to me that i would not have known about
colinbredin - if you click on CLIQUEZ POUR ENTRER in red under motorhome pic - then on the left menu click on CHERCHER/AJOUTER UNE AIRE - should give you a list of aires in each country
