I was driving a friends truck during the week and he has a tom tom 540 live sat nav,
I was impressed with all the detail it showed when compaired to my 2008/9 garmin,
Yesterday evening in tesco the same lad spotted the tom tom smart 25 for €62.50 and I couldn't resist,
It's looking like it has all the stuff of the 540, it's updating the maps at the minute so looking forward to testing it and reporting back,
One feature that impresses me is you can put in the max speed you intend to drive and it calculates your ETA based on that,
Update,
Very impressed with this on our French trip, the lane assist was a god send, it automatically changed the time (1hr ahead) and the ring POI near you is also very handy as a little symbol appears for shops campsites etc (can be turned off/on in settings)
When I went my way the recalculation was very quick,
Overall I'm chuffed and at €62.50 ya couldn't go wrong, highly recommend
