I fitted a new Snipe System to a Motorhome today and I must admit It is quiet and very fast to find satellites , great system and occupies very little room on the roof of the Motorhome.

Good thing about it it is smaller than a dome or dish, and unlike the dish it can also be used in windy conditions

There is a bit of a debate on theses systems and I think I have got it right, if I haven't someone correct this please......

Snipe say it is not covered by warranty if you fix this to your roof, it is not meant to be permanently put on a roof but is a portable dish to be brought down once you have finished using it.

First I have heard of this Ally.
The snipe pro now comes with a roof fitting plate as far as I know.

I see what you mean Ally.
I just looked at the avtex site and they don't list the pro version yet the quote and link below are from a retailer site selling the pro version.

I wonder where the pro version has come from if avtex don't list it.

The Avtex Snipe Pro has a strengthened support and is specially designed for fixed installation on the roof or a motorhome or caravan.
