Yeah I got Conrad Anderson to fit one for me and its a great job. I'm not sure it's a DIY job though as it seems very complicated to my simple mind.

I'll re-phrase the question. :D

Anyone used any of those kits above and fitted one themselves?

Ask bob when he gets back from France.
His brother in law added one a couple of years ago and it never worked properly. Bob might know which one it was.

I use the conrad ones in work , with a T harness to integrate them into the electronic accelerator , never had a problem with them . I generally fit a small stalk to the console . I've been using their stuff since about 2004 , and never had a problem .

Yeah guys but Adria put the quality where it counts and gives it customers the option to decide.

Approx half the new Adrias come with it , it's more likely on a LHD than a RHD .

I honestly can't remember the price , I just ring them and order stuff , someone else in work worries about paying them! :D

Are LHD Motorhomes usually a better speck? I was talking to another Craicker lately who's RHD 2005 Ducato has manual windows, our 2004 LHD has Electric ones.

I think led models have a slightly different spec from rhd as the manufacturers will aim them for the intended market, a lot of ltd models won't have an oven fitted where as most rhd ones especially uk made ones will.

Each manufacturer will put things on to try and tempt people to buy their van.

Example the model line of my knaus has as standard, cruise cont, air con, elect windows, remote central locking, speed restrict or or what ever it's called, heated electric mirrors, alloy wheels and probably more than I can remember about, but other model lines don't have a lot of that and it is the same for most manufacturers.

It also spoils you if you want to consider a new van, will it come with all of that and can you live without it.
