Probably said it a year ago, so apologies for repeating myself, its nothing new, all caravans and trailers over a certain size have been "MOT'd" in Spain for years and they have their own trailer registration number as well. While its a cost implication to those who own them, it would not be a bad move after all we MOT our motorhomes and cars.
