Yes there are deals.
Irish ferries have announced their 10% discount code as usual.
Stenna (was Celtic Link) have a great relationship with this site so I am sure their discount code will be announced soon.

Ferry prices are definitely up on last year.
If you can travel on any day of the week it is usually cheaper on week days than weekends.
Travel before mid June or after mid August is best also.

If you are stuck to school holidays it will be much more.

Hi Mark, thanks for the reply. Yes i followed the Irish Ferries 10% email link, chose midweek sailings etc and we are going to follow Tour de France so dates are what they are. Hope the other discounts are better??

I doubt you will get more than 10% discount from any ferry company.
If you are following le tour you could travel in late June and see some of the early stages. That might keep your costs down a little.

Don't forget that you can get a 10% discount for booking early. use the code FRANCEC15, and if you go to France and return with Irish Ferries between start of June and end of August, you also qualify for a free trip to Wales in the off peak times (sept to end May with some exceptions)

If you can make use of this offer it will claw back about 400 euro for you. We made use of this last year and are planning are early trip to Wales next season.

My estimate for this years trip to France in June is about 500 euro. 6.9m length over 2.25 height 2 bed with window.

If you are following the tour,
I heard that nutt travel offer good deals for sporting events but I don't know if that includes France,

But worst case you could nutt it to the uk and get a late tunnel or Calais for around £50
