Anyone know if Garykennedy really has a laundry service block?

We are up in Portumna, which according to the waterways book should have laundry. But we can say for 100% that it does not.

Not 100% sure about Garrykennedy,was in Portumna last week but headed up to
Shannon Harbour to stay for the night and know that the service block there
Had a laundry room stayed at the lock (36?)furthest away from Harbour Masters
house there are signs up on his road for motor homes not to use but next road on
Right takes you to lock at end of Stoney road small Layby to park in if using service
Block before going up to lock good parking at lock.thnx Barry after posting I
Did a bit of searching on waterways site and Lough Derg harbours and site says there are
Laundry facilities at G'kennedy also checked Portumna and only listed showers water and
toilets so hopefully this site gives correct info Good Luck

I think garrykennedy has, it is one of the newer facility blocks built, you could always ring larkins bar there and ask, they are helpful

Hey all -

I can confirm Garrykennedy has laundry. The way they have it setup is a great deal. Larkin pub sells the cards. for 7 euro we did 4 loads of laundry. You put the card in, and you can wash your clothes til the cows come home!
