Getting the Ferry to Roscoff tomorrow and wondering if anyone in France now could tell us what the weather is like this week so that we can decide which direction to head in.

Very good for the last four days, even in Cherbourg when we left yesterday, we are still on our way home.

You are right, I find it more challenging when I get back to Ireland for a while than when I go to France.

I don't have a problem driving it France either. It's when I return that I find the problem.

Thanks for that Have arrived in Saumur Weather is good and warm. May stay here for a few days as thunder storms forcasted further down South

We love Saumur be sure and enjoy the wines of the region and visit some of the Caves.

Thanks Jack There was a wine festival today plenty of wine tasting, Luckily we were on our bikes so no problem with the tastings

Hope you enjoyed would loved to gave been there. Some great wines around Saumur. Be sure and sust them out and bring them home but remember to keep them flat.

Hi all--we are in Marseilan plage on the med.we have just had the mothers and fathers of a thunder storm.we got soaked coming from the beach.tomorrow is not too promising but after that should be ok.All the ways down through France the weather was lovely,very warm and sunny.
By the way they have got greedy here,this aire used to be 6euros a night now it's 12 euros.

Even at 12, it's still a lot cheaper and the wine a lot tastier than what you get at home

For €4 more you would get a ACSI site, There are 4 or 5 nearby, We stayed on one last year that had a gate onto the beach with a pin access code.
