Ireland - this weekend for 2 weeks

 ·

Im am on the late ferry arriving late on Saturday night around midnight, can anyone tell me the best place to stay?
Bet you have been asked a 1000 times before but is it like the UK as in people do not like motorhomers camping wildly or will we find a better approach?
We have looked at going to Newtown Cove, Meadow Camping, Wavecest Camping and North Beach Camping, so travelling down the coast 3 days in each place then back up above Dublin, but any recomendations would be really appreciated , just really looking forward to it all.
Thank you in advance.

Dublin sorry.

Arriving late in Dublin your best bet would probably be Howth pier. Plenty of Motorhomers use this and a lovely place to stay. Or if you want a campsite then Camac Valley.

Or if heading south from Dublin then Greystones harbour. Wild camping is normally tolerated in most areas. You will find height barriers where you are not really allowed to.

Apparently you can stay at the Stena Dicks as well but from past experience Docks can be noisy. As Ally says Howth Pier would be the best and probably the closest.

If your heading down South then Grwystones would be the better bet. It's a good place so you need have no worries.
