Hello, thanks for the welcome.

I'm not a motorhome owner yet. We are at present considering getting one for next year, so I'm here to learn all I can about motorhomes and
the motorhome way of life.
We've travelled back and forth to France for the last 10 years and have always envied those who travelled with their own home in tow.

very sensible, to learn before parting with what can be a large sum of money. I have heard it said most don't get the right MH for them until their 3rd MH. Personally I am on MH 1 and when I change I know what from the next MH. So research will pay off and they are a friendly bunch on here.

Welcome to the Craic.

This is the right place to ask. There are many seasoned motorhomers on this forum. Sometimes visiting a dealer will help you eliminate a few layouts which will not suit you. That narrows down the search. If you do go down this route just tell the dealer what you are doing and they may well leave you to take your time.
Enjoy your search and ask here before you buy.

Welcome and best of luck with the hunt for your first MH. We bought our first second hand motor home last year and are really happy with it.
As the guys say take your time and check out all the layouts as that is probably the biggest decision you will make.
The very best of luck.

Thanks @Shivster. I think I'm almost sure of the layout I like and would suit us best now. ;) I say almost, but
love almost every van I look at. lol.

We dont have a list of dealers but a few of the site sponsers are dealers such as Hagans and Donaghys. Tristan from Pat Horan Motors is also a dealer and member on here. There is nothing like spending a long afternoon at a dealers looking at every motorhome they have in stock. You need to know what you are looking from it, how many will be travelling, how many will be sleeping etc as this can dictate the size and layout.
