We're long-terming in our van and, due to family commitments, we'll be over-wintering in Ireland, North and South.
Prior to returning home we thought we'd sussed a reasonable solution to our accommodation for part of the time anyway - staying on the Dundonald campsite which turns into an aire at the beginning of November, providing pitch and electricity for 8€ a night.
However, our offspring are dead against it, each having experience of family or friend being the subject of, shall we say, anti-social behaviour. None of the incidents was in the campsite itself and it seems to me that the site is pretty much sheltered from the surrounding area and it's behind locked gates.
However, if anything happened, they'd likely be picking up the pieces and they've enough on their plates.
Does anyone have any experience of staying on the site, or know anyone who has? Especially over winter?
Thanks in advance.
